So, what is all this MonicaTalk™ I keep hearing about?
After more than two decades of offering psychiatric counseling using a traditional "in-office" approach, I now offer convenient, economical and effective alternatives to supplement in-office treatment. I call these MonicaTalk™
MonicaTalk™ is comprised of two parts:
Walk 'n Talk Therapy™ began on the streets of New York. Today I continue to mix the physical with the psychological through individual and group sessions. These sessions are available on pavement (neighborhood streets or school running tracks) or on exercise equipment in the gym. They allow clients to "get fit" both physically and psychologically, outside of the practitioner's office setting (30-60 minute sessions).
StreetTalk™ • TrackTalk™ • GymTalk™
Monica's Virtual Couch™ was a natural progression from the traditional in-office style of therapy. With the wide availability of today's modern technologies, I provide psychiatric counseling sessions via Telephone, Live Text, E-Mail, and Video Chat (Skype). This service is a great alternative for both local individuals who find this a more confortable way of having therapy and/or for convenience, as well as for those out-of-towner's who can benefit from my 'out-of the box' approach and techniques. Many of my clients have enjoyed this easy and effective way to discuss their issues and concerns. Compared with traditional in-office visits, these methods allow for quicker response times, especially in times of crisis. (30-60 minute sessions).
