Keep Calm & Carry On

I chose this photograph for a very specific reason. Recently our family had the opportunity to travel to the Hawaiian Islands, something I highly suggest if you haven’t been. The photograph is from Haleakala National Park on the island of Maui, a very famous spot for its unrivaled & unforgettable sunrise. Why would I tell you this?

It’s about perspective. The sun WILL come out tomorrow. It will, I promise.

The uncertainty of what’s happening at this exact moment, doesn’t take away this fact. Once we can manage to place things in perspective, we can begin to experience a more calm place. It is only then, when we can begin to speak and act rationally.

Take a step back. Running to the supermarket or warehouse club to hoard the eggs, milk, and toilet paper doesn’t make a lot of sense, but as you read this, you know what I’m speaking about. How much hand sanitizer can a family even use?

We need to, as the saying goes, “Keep Calm & Carry on”.
